Danielle M. Herrera, LMFT (#124770) (she/hers) provides harm reduction psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families who are affected by drug and alcohol addiction, compulsive sexual behaviors, and compulsive stealing. She hold a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology from University of San Francisco and a BA in Psychology from UCLA, although the breadth of her experience is grounded in her lived identities and in her practices of a multiplicity of counseling / therapeutic roles for the past decade.
She is excited to offer a Psychedelic Integration Group for folks who find group therapy to be a supportive, therapeutic environment.
Danielle comes to us from Harm Reduction Therapy Center in San Francisco, where she provided community-based harm reduction psychotherapy to individuals and groups interested in exploring their relationship to drugs and alcohol.
Danielle has a special interest in working with children and teens affected by the impact of drug-use within a family system, as well as families and couples. Danielle is also trained in working with psychedelics and can offer psychedelic integration, harm reduction, and benefit maximization.
